Now available from your nearest grocery store

Dangaya is a mischievous little rabbit. His disobedience towards his elders leads him into trouble with the neighbouring farmer and his dog. The intention of this play is to open little minds to the reasons as to why they should heed to advice of adults. At the same time, the play successfully familiarizes the use of Sinhalese as a language.

Mahadena Muththa and his pupils roam around the country side, trying to solve one problem after the other, leaving behind a procession of unhappy villagers. This play is an attempt to provide young as well as adult audiences with a glimpse of our Sri Lankan folk lore, folk songs and folk traditions.

Both plays are the outcome of the Theatre Workshop for children conducted by Kusumsiri Liyanaarachchi and Yashodhara Sarachchandra in Melbourne, Australia. The plays were written by Kusumsiri; directed by Kusumsiri and Yashodhara; music was composed by Yashodhara.

Direction of photography, film editing, cinematography, sound engineering, audio equipment and 5.1 digital surround sound live recording by Varuna Multimedia Productions.
